St. Louis-based accounting firm Mueller Prost joins Wipfli

Wipfli, one of the top 20 accounting and consulting firms in the United States, has announced the partners and associates of St. Louis-based Mueller Prost have joined the firm effective June 1.

"There are so many points of connection between Mueller Prost and Wipfli, it would be hard to say what I'm most excited about,” said Kurt Gresens, Wipfli managing partner. “While it was their entrepreneurial spirit that brought us together, our strong industry and services synergies and longstanding cultural connections between our teams will allow us, together, to bring even more value to the clients we serve and enhance our growth. Founded in 1983, Mueller Prost is a full-service CPA firm that provides tax, audit and assurance and business advisory services to more than 4,300 clients in 47 states. The firm’s services are focused on closely held businesses and organizations in the healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, nonprofit and real estate and construction industries.

This is the second firm to join Wipfli this year and the ninth in the past two years. Following the effective date, the firm will have more than 2,900 associates.
