Wipfli earns a top five spot on Construction Executive’s list of The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ for third straight year

Wipfli LLP (Wipfli), a national accounting and consulting firm, has been named #5 on the list of Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ by Construction Executive magazine. This is the third year the firm has earned a top five position.

Bohman and Wipfli senior manager Alex McBride were quoted in the magazine’s July/August issue, providing insight on issues such as cybersecurity and cost coding.

Additionally, Bohman and Wipfli business transition advisor Paul Lally co-authored a guest piece for the magazine, covering results of the firm’s construction succession planning survey. Among the findings: A sizable 81% of construction businesses plan to transition ownership within the next 10 years, with as many as 15% exiting in the next one to two.

The issue includes a full list of the top 50 firms. To make its selections, Construction Executive collected a range of data — including 2020 construction practice revenue, construction partners and its number of construction clients in 2020. The magazine uses an algorithm to determine the final ranking.
