Microsoft names Wipfli a Preferred Power Apps Partner
Saturday, June 6, 2020
Wipfli has been named a Preferred Power Apps Advanced Partner by Microsoft.
Power Apps is a platform that lets organizations quickly build low-code apps that address their specific business challenges. By offering pre-built templates with drag-and-drop functionality, Power Apps enables users who aren’t tech experts to build apps.
For organizations that want the speed and ease of using Power Apps but with more customization that meets their exact needs, Wipfli takes them through an ideation process to define their challenges and requirements, build a prototype and then build the app.
For example, to rapidly respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, nonprofit organization Team Rubicon worked with Wipfli to build the Neighbors Helping Neighbors app, which helps those who cannot safely leave their home still get their needs met by their community.
Because of the experience Wipfli has in building apps and helping organizations learn how to use Power Apps, Microsoft has named the firm a Preferred Power Apps Advanced Partner.
The Power Platform
Power Apps is part of the wider Microsoft Power Platform, which also helps users analyze data through Power BI, automate processes through Power Automate and create chatbots through Power Virtual Agents. Wipfli is already a Power BI partner and provides strategic analysis and design to help guide organizations through their technology strategy and roadmap on Microsoft’s platforms.
