Thursday, May 16, 2019
Wipfli recently signed the Cybersecurity Tech Accord, an international and industry-led pledge to protect technology users by improving the security of cyberspace. The firm joined 15 other companies in signing the accord, bringing the total number of cybersecurity-committed companies to 106.
“Wipfli has been working to protect the interest and security of our clients for over 80 years,” said Ken Kortas, partner and Technology Consulting Services Leader. “As a firm, we are aligned with the Cybersecurity Tech Accord’s core principles and believe all organizations should support them. It is an important initiative that helps to educate and influence community expectations and is aligned with the Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace.”
Wipfli’s addition further deepens the expertise of the group, which will launch new initiatives throughout 2019 to increase cybersecurity awareness, promote best practices and identify ways to keep the internet secure.
