Description
Internal controls are emphasized strongly in the Uniform Guidance. This session will identify how an auditor analyzes internal controls throughout the audit process. We will then link this back to the COVID-19 outbreak, when there was greater need for people to work off site. We specifically will cover internal controls, red flags and best practices.

- Discuss why internal controls play a vital role in running an organization.
- Explore key areas organizations should focus on related to internal controls.
- Review good internal controls and common pitfalls to avoid.
