Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility PDPM Training

On October 1, 2019, the first major change in reimbursement in 20 years will be implemented. Wipfli’s team of PDPM specialists is presenting a full day workshop to prepare your facility for these changes. This training session is perfect for administrators, directors of nursing, MDS nurses, therapy specialists, billing professionals and ICD-10 coders.

At the conclusion of this session, you will be able to:

• State the five components of the PDPM system
• Discuss how factors are calculated in each component
• Discuss how ICD-10 coding impacts reimbursement
• Site ICD-10 and MDS coding errors that can impact reimbursement
• Identify areas to audit for improvement
• Implement processes for a smooth transition to PDPM

Session will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET (Lunch is provided.)

From M-28, turn north onto M-123 towards Newberry. As you pass the Newberry Correctional Facility, Hamilton Lake Road/County Road 428 is the first crossroad past the prison. Turn left onto Hamilton Lake Road and LMAS is the first brick building. The conference room entrance is on the north end of the building.

From downtown Newberry, head south towards M-28. Hamilton Lake Road is the road just passed the BP gas station. Turn right onto Hamilton Lake Road and LMAS is the first brick building. The conference room entrance is on the north end of the building.
