Why attend?

The Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) is continually amending existing statements and adding new statements that can present challenges for implementation. By attending this training, you will learn the implementation dates of the new GASB statements, how to implement them, and the impact they will have on financial statements and disclosures. We will provide case studies based on Wipfli’s experience and knowledge in the tribal government space.

Description

This webinar is designed for tribal governments and other associated governmental entities. We will discuss all upcoming new GASB statements — except for GASB 87, which will be covered in a separate webinar.

Learning objectives:

1. Overview and implementation date requirements of the new GASB statements (except for GASB 87).
2. Discuss record keeping and documentation needed to ensure statements are properly implemented for the new GASB statements (except for GASB 87).
3. Discuss the impact on financial statement presentation and disclosures for the new GASB statements (except for GASB 87).

To receive continuing professional education (CPE) credits (live webinars only), you will need to complete each polling question and click submit during the live training.
