DESCRIPTION
On January 22, the OMB proposed the first major update to the Uniform Guidance, intending to standardize terminology and clarify areas of misinterpretation. Some of the proposed changes affect the following:
- Definitions (there are many new proposed definitions)
- De minimis rate
- Methods of procurement, including micro-purchase threshold guidance
- Clarification of pass-through entity responsibility regarding audit findings
- Closeout
- And many others
