Registration fee
$975 per connection

The registration fee includes:
- Up to 10.5 continuing professional education (CPE) credits in accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour.
- Reference materials (any PowerPoint presentations and/or additional references) available for download.
Transfers and cancellations
- Participants who are unable to attend may be eligible to transfer or cancel their registration. All transfer or cancellation requests must be received in writing no later than two business days before the start of the event for which you are currently registered.
- A $25 service fee will be applied to all transfer and cancellation requests. Additional fees may apply.
- Participants who registered but did not attend the event or complete a request to transfer or cancel within the allotted time, are liable for the full registration fee.
- If Wipfli reschedules or cancels the event, you will be notified via email, at which time you will be given the option to transfer to another training or receive a refund.

Day 1: General provisions, administrative requirements and procurement

After an introduction and discussion of the laws and regulations, we’ll discuss the general provisions and administrative requirements of Uniform Guidance. Then, we’ll focus on standards for financial management systems and internal controls, property and equipment, and procurement.
Day 2: Monitoring and reporting, cost principles and cost allocation

Prerequisite: None

Day two will include discussions around the requirements for pass-through entities, reporting and record retention requirements, general provisions of the cost principles and cost allocation (including indirect cost rates).
Day 3: Selected items of cost and audit requirements

Day three will follow the cost principles discussion with a discussion of the costs that a grant-funded program can charge to federal grant awards, including allowable costs, unallowable costs and costs that require prior approval. We’ll conclude with a discussion of the audit requirements.
Learning objectives
- Review the organization and applicability of the Uniform Guidance.
- Discuss the requirements for financial systems.
- Discuss the regulations on program income, property and procurement.
- Explore the requirements for reporting and record retention.
- Explore the basics of allowable costs.
- Discuss direct and indirect costs.
- Explore the options for cost allocation.
- Review the changes in audit requirements.
Be prepared
You’ll receive an email once you’ve been added to our event hosting platform, as well as reminders one day and one hour prior to the training. Materials will be available one hour before the training until one day after the training.
Certificate of participation and CPE credit
- Each registered person attending the live webinar is eligible to receive a certificate of participation/continuing professional education (CPE) credit.
- To receive a certificate of participation/CPE credit, participants must answer the interactive polling questions presented throughout the webinar; participants will have approximately 30 seconds to respond to the questions.
- This session is eligible for 10.5 credits. To receive full credit, participants must answer all polling questions.
- Upon receipt, the information will be verified and if accepted, you will receive a certificate of participation via email within 14 business days of the webinar presentation.
