RHC 101: Get with the RHC program

Are you ready to run towards RHC certification? Perhaps you’re seasoned in the program, but need to hone your skills. This session will provide an overview of the RHC program, including information on qualifying a facility for RHC status, preparing for the initial survey and certification, and requirements for maintaining your standing as a certified RHC.

Medicare billing for rural health clinics

Once you gain RHC certification, the benefit of your RHC status depends on correct billing and optimization of RHC rates. This session will include an overview of Medicare RHC billing rules and regulations. In addition, participants will gain an understanding of billing for non-RHC services. Updates regarding billing and reimbursement for behavioral health under telehealth with also be covered.

Medicare cost report preparation and insights

RHC Cares Act reporting - what’s next?

During the pandemic, RHCs across the country received stimulus funds under the CARES Act. This session is intended to update attendees on lessons learned, the next round of reporting (including updated reporting requirements) and understanding potential audit requirements under the Uniform Guidance (known as “single audits”) for organizations, including the parent organizations for provider-based RHCs, where funds received were in excess of $750,000. This session will review the reporting requirements and describe what is involved in a UG audit.
