The FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (CAT) has been the go-to resource for measuring cybersecurity preparedness for years. But now, financial institutions need a more adaptable framework to keep up with wider and evolving threats.

The NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) is considered the “gold standard” for managing cybersecurity risks across industries. Our first IT Leadership Roundtable of 2025 will explore the NIST CSF as a replacement for CAT — and how it can help you build a more resilient and risk-informed approach to cybersecurity.

Join us on March 6 to earn 1.5 continuing professional education (CPE) credits as you learn:

  • The components and core functions of the NIST CSF.
  • Key differences between the NIST CSF and FFIEC CAT.
  • How to assess your organization’s cybersecurity position using the NIST CSF.
  • Steps to identify cybersecurity gaps and implement improvements.
  • What regulators want to know about your cybersecurity program.

Wipfli’s cybersecurity team will deliver a 45-minute presentation on the NIST CSF transition, followed by a Q&A. Registrants may submit questions in advance.

This session is designed for compliance officers, IT managers, information security officers, IT auditors and operations managers who work in financial institutions.

Register today to earn CPE credit and stay ahead of cybersecurity threats.
