Jim Collins, Senior Director, Financial Services Industry at Salesforce, will speak to his deep experience in the industry and Salesforce’s role in helping institutions on their digital transformation journey. Robin Early, MLO, Digital Strategist at Wipfli, will guide the conversation and provide insights from her experience helping financial institutions implement digital transformation initiatives and gain user adoption.

Kirk Sanders, UFirst Credit Union
Kirk Sanders is the chief technology officer at UFirst Credit Union (recently rebranded in 2022 from University Credit Union), a Salt Lake City, Utah-based credit union. The fast-growing credit union has reached an asset size of 1.76 billion, 110,000 members and 20 branches. UFirst is consistently awarded for being one of the best institutions in a highly competitive market, having recently won the “2022 Best of State Award” in Utah and the 2021 Forbes’ “Best Credit Union in Every State.” Sanders leads the information technology steering committee and technology team responsible for the strategy and execution of digital banking products, digital branch transformation, technology platforms and infrastructure.
Sanders has over 25 years of IT financial industry experience and over 15 years at the executive level. He was previously the CIO of Weber State Credit Union. His goals, through a strategic digital vision, leadership and best IT management practices, are to be highly responsive to the needs of the credit union and its staff while providing world-class innovative digital experiences to both employees and the members they serve.
Jim Collins, Salesforce
Jim Collins is currently the Senior Director for the Financial Services Industry Advisor’s Team and the Global Lead for Community Banks and Credit Unions at Salesforce. Collins has over 30 years of business experience, including 27 years in the banking industry. Prior to joining Salesforce, Collins was the Sr. Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer for an $18 billion regional bank, where he helped lead the organization from $250 million in assets 12 years ago to $18 billion in assets when he left this year. Collins is a strategic leader who fosters a positive and collaborative working environment while building high-performing teams that drive execution and results.
Collins’ 27 years in the banking industry include leadership roles in retail banking, small business banking, sales management, operations, technology, and most recently driving digital transformation and building out digital-only channels. Collins also spent a year on the Fortimize Banking Advisory Board. He holds an MBA in Finance from Lehigh University and has completed executive education course work at Harvard Business School.
Robin Early, Wipfli
Robin Early is a digital strategist with over 18 years of experience in financial services. She is attuned to the needs of the industry, having worked within financial institutions herself in various roles before moving the consulting side. Early’s experience gives her the ability to share personal experience and valuable lessons learned. Clients appreciate her insight and passion for ensuring user adoption during the digital transformation process.
