Cancellation policy

If a registered attendee is unable to attend a Wipfli event, they may be eligible to transfer or cancel their registration. 

All transfer or cancellation requests must be emailed before the start of the event. Service and cancellation fees may apply. For more information and instructions, please see the sections below.

Attendees who registered but did not attend the event — or complete a request to transfer or cancel — are responsible for the full registration fee.

If Wipfli cancels or reschedules a training session, you will be notified via email. Participants will be given the option to transfer to another currently listed event or to select a full refund of registration fees.

How to transfer your registration

Registered attendees have two options:

  1. Transfer your current registration to another available event.
  2. Send another member of your team to the current event in your place.

Transfer requests are subject to a service fee. The final registrant will be responsible for the difference in cost between the original registration and the new registration, if applicable.

To request a transfer, email trainings@wipfli.com with the following information:

  • Subject line: Registration transfer
  • Body:
    • Registrant’s name and email address
    • Substitute’s name and email address
    • Registration confirmation/ticket number

Transfer requests for onsite trainings:

  • Will incur a $25 service fee if received 14 business days or more before the training.
  • Will incur a $100 service fee if received fewer than 14 business days before the training.

Transfer requests for virtual trainings:

  • Will incur a $25 service fee if received 14 business days or more before the training.
  • Will incur a $50 service fee if received fewer than 14 business days before the training.

How to cancel your registration

To cancel your registration, email trainings@wipfli.com with the following information:

  • Subject line: Registration cancellation
  • Body:
    • Registrant’s name
    • Registrant’s email address
    • Registration confirmation/ticket number

For refunds of onsite training registrations:

  • If canceled 14 business days or more before the training, the refund is the registration fee minus a $25 service fee.
  • If canceled fewer than 14 business days before the training, the refund is the registration fee minus a 25% cancellation fee.
  • If canceled fewer than five business days before the training, there is no refund.

For refunds of virtual training registrations:

  • If canceled 14 business days or more before the training, the refund is the registration fee minus a $25 service fee.
  • If canceled fewer than 14 business days before the training, the refund is the registration minus a 15% cancellation fee.
  • If the canceled fewer than two business days before the training, there is no refund.
