Wausau, Wis. (Nov. 1, 2006) -- Wipfli LLP, a CPA and consulting firm with 17 offices in Wisconsin and Minnesota, closed its doors for business on Oct. 5 for its 2nd annual Community Day celebration.  Associates throughout the region spent the day volunteering at a total of 30 local organizations for a combined 3,072 hours of service.

 “We held our first Community Day last year as part of our 75th anniversary celebration,” notes Rick Dreher, Wipfli’s managing partner.  “Because we received such an overwhelmingly positive response—from our associates and from the community—about the impact we made in that one day, we knew we had to make this experience an annual tradition.”    

Dreher continues, “Our firm is just as committed to making a difference in the world around us as we are to helping our clients succeed.  Wipfli’s Community Day is a demonstration of our sincere desire to give back to the communities that have fueled the firm’s growth.”
