Pamela Branshaw, CPA, CEBS

Employee Benefits Services Leader

Pam Branshaw is responsible for the development of the employee benefits practice for Wipfli’s Western Region.  She manages a staff that now provides record keeping services for over 250 retirement plans and over 25 cafeteria plans.

Pam has more than 18 years of specialized experience in employee benefits record keeping, consulting, and auditing.  Her record keeping experience working for a CPA firm has provided Pam with the expertise to be a “problem plan” fixer.  Utilizing her experience and tax background, Pam has developed great insight into decision making in plan design and ongoing record keeping.  These skills allow Pam to guide Wipfli LLP clients in avoiding the creation of future “problem plans.”

Pam has over 20 years of invaluable experience in tax and auditing for small businesses.  Joining Wipfli in the tax department, she saw a need among the client base for quality record keeping, compliance, and audit services for employee benefit plans and made the commitment to develop expertise to meet this need.

Throughout Pam’s 18 years of experience providing benefit plan record keeping, compliance, and audit services, there have been many changes in employee benefit law, as well as regulations from the IRS and DOL.  This extensive experience enables Pam to effectively evaluate how changes affect clients and what alternatives clients should explore to deal with these changes.
