July 19, 2013
Wipfli LLP announced that Dan Pichler has been appointed the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Green Bay office. In his new role, Pichler will oversee 119 professionals who deliver audit, tax and consulting services to businesses and individuals in the Green Bay and northeast Wisconsin market. He will also guide the office’s involvement in the local community. Pichler succeeds Ken Krueger, who retired in May after leading the Green Bay office for over 25 years.
“Dan has demonstrated strong leadership skills throughout his career with Wipfli,” said Rick Dreher, managing partner of Wipfli LLP. “That coupled with his dedication to exceptional client service and his commitment to the community position him well to guide and build upon the firm’s success in the Green Bay market.”
In addition to this new role, Pichler will continue to assist commercial entities with their accounting, tax and business issues. As a key relationship executive, he is responsible for helping find solutions for his clients’ needs.
A certified public accountant, Pichler is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he is active in a number of community organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, the Thursday Breakfast Optimist Club, and Legatus. Pichler is a magna cum laude graduate of St. Norbert College, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in accounting.
Wipfli’s Green Bay office was founded in 1910 by Clifford Smith, the first public accountant in the city of Green Bay.
