Ron Hafner Joins Wipfli LLP to Lead The Firm's SEC Practice

Wipfli LLP recently announced that Ron Hafner joined the firm to lead Wipfli’s SEC practice.
 
“We are pleased that Ron is joining Wipfli,” stated Rick Dreher, partner-in-charge of the firm. “With his extensive experience serving public and privately held companies throughout his career, he will be a strong addition to our firm, helping us expand our firmwide SEC practice and provide additional services to our public and private clients.”

With 25 years at Deloitte & Touche LLP (D&T), Hafner has extensive experience in the areas of SEC reporting, initial public offerings, due diligence surrounding mergers and acquisitions, equity-based compensation, income tax accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Throughout his career, his focus has been on public and privately held manufacturing and technology companies. He worked for the last  eleven years as an audit  partner in D&T’s Minneapolis office and held several leadership positions within the firm including leader of the Minneapolis Venture Capital and Technology, Media and Telecommunications practices.
 
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Hafner earned a bachelor of science degree with a concentration in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA).
