Wipfli announced today that it has expanded its international services practice with the recent addition of Bob Buetow as a Director of International Tax. Buetow brings over 30 years of experience in the international tax area and will lead the firmwide international tax services group.
While Wipfli has worked with companies that do business internationally for many years, bringing additional expertise to our firm specifically focused on international services will help Wipfli to continue to serve our clients’ needs as the marketplace continues to become more global,” Wipfli’s Managing Partner Rick Dreher said. “We are thrilled to welcome Bob Buetow to the firm, an international tax professional with extensive experience who can help our clients leverage tax opportunities and overcome tax challenges as they do business around the world.”
In his position with Wipfli, Buetow is responsible for all international tax and compliance work and the delivery of a full range of international tax services to many of the firm’s international clients. In his career, Buetow has provided domestic and international tax consulting and compliance services to private and public entities, including major international tax planning and compliance projects for large flow-through entities and large C corporations.

He is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Buetow holds a master of business taxation degree from the University of Minnesota, and bachelor of business administration and master of business administration degrees from Loyola University in Chicago.
