June 3, 2010
Wipfli LLP announced today that Eric Weitzer has joined the firm’s construction cost segregation practice where he will devote his time to managing cost segregation studies for the firm’s clients.
“We are thrilled that Eric has joined the firm,” stated Bob Kaczmarek, leader of the firm’s construction cost segregation practice. “Eric’s extensive experience providing cost segregation studies to businesses around the Midwest will further strengthen the cost segregation services we are able to provide to Wipfli’s clients.”
With over 10 years of experience in appraisals and valuations, Weitzer has performed over one thousand studies for fair market value, cost segregation, allocation of purchase price, property valuation, insurance valuation, and fixed asset record development. His ability to identify and classify property correctly for income tax purposes improves his client’s cash flow through management of their tax liabilities.
Prior to joining Wipfli, Weitzer was a manager in the cost segregation practice of a regional accounting firm. He began his career as an appraiser for an international appraisal firm.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Eric earned a bachelor of business degree in construction administration. He is also a candidate and continues to pursue his ASA designation in Machinery and Equipment from the American Society of Appraisers.
