Robert Kaczmarek Joins Wipfli To Lead Construction Cost Segregation Practice

Wipfli LLP is pleased to announce that Robert Kaczmarek has joined the firm as the leader of the firm’s construction cost segregation practice.
“We are thrilled that Bob has joined the firm,” stated John Schwab, lead partner of the Wipfli’s construction practice. “With his extensive experience and skills in the cost segregation area, he will be a strong leader within our construction practice and will be a great resource to our clients.”
With over 27 years of experience in appraisals and valuations, Bob has performed over six-thousand studies for fair market value, cost segregation, allocation of purchase price, property valuation, insurance valuation, and fixed asset record development. His ability to identify and classify property correctly for income tax purposes allows him to help improve the cash flow of his clients through management of their tax liabilities.
Prior to joining Wipfli, Bob was director of the cost segregation practice of a regional accounting firm and was the manager of the national construction cost segregation practice of an international accounting firm. He began his career as an appraiser for an international appraisal firm.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bob earned a bachelor of business science degree in construction administration. He earned a master of business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the ASA Designation in Machinery and Equipment - Technical Valuations / Cost Surveys from the American Society of Appraisers.
Bob has been the featured speaker on cost segregation practices for industry groups, tax organizations, and state and national CPA societies including the AICPA National Real Estate Conference. In addition, he served as past editor of the Journal of Technical Valuation and authored numerous articles for it, the Journal of Property Taxation and several trade publications in the food industry.
